That's right! It's my golden birthday today! I mean how often do you turn 23 on the 23rd of the month? I guess you could say that about every age though! It has been a really relaxing day. I woke up to the smell of a delicious breakfast Shane made for me. He also watched little Jeremy while I got to sleep for an extra 1.5 hours. Then we went on a hot date to Ray's Food Place in Fort Jones! Now that's what I call some good ol' family fun! We went out to eat at the Etna Deli and Pizza and now we are just hanging out!

It was more like a birthday week for me. We got to spend the week with both of our families since Shane's family came to visit! We had a lot of fun, including a few hikes, some four-wheeler rides, shooting competitions, and a little swimming! We topped the week off with dinner at a mexican restaurant called Casa Ramos and a jetboat excursion down the Rogue River. Then yesterday my parents took me shopping for some new clothes for the Caribbean! We learned that Jeremy isn't too fond of shopping! My dad and Shane just waited for my mom and me while we shopped and instead of crying (since they are adults) Jeremy cried for them. Hence the extremely fast shopping spree. That's ok, I only needed to go to two stores before I ended up coming home with about ten tops and one pair of capris! It was a success! Thanks families for the great birthday/week!

Now we are just getting ready to leave for the Caribbean! We leave in less than two weeks to make a stop and then actually fly out on the 8th! We are getting anxious! It has been pretty busy trying to get everything together before then but it will get done, I'm sure of it!
