35 Weeks, Jan 17th
After the shower, Shane and I headed over to his parents house to work on the quilt for the baby. We quilted the entire thing in about 3 hours total, which was faster than I had expected since we are both first timers. Shane's mom and even dad helped out, which is probably why we finished it faster than expected! Now all we have to do is trim the edges and then sew on the binding. Almost finished, woohoo!
Shane and I working on the quilt!
Almost finished product...
A close-up of our handiwork, not bad for first timers eh?
After the baby madness came the basketball madness. We watched the BYU v. CSU game on TV since it was an away game! It got pretty close near the end and we were all so nervous but BYU pulled it out! The next game is on Wednesday against San Diego State. Two top ten teams will be playing at the Marriott Center and don't you worry Shane and I will be the among the first 500 fans! Today they had students lining up to get wristbands. They only gave out 1000 wristbands today and the other 4000 students will have to wait in line even longer tomorrow. But don't worry, Shane and I got in line today in the freezing snow! We received a green wristband which lets us in among the first 500 students tomorrow night! We are so excited for the game! It was mad chaos at the Marriott Center today, I can't even imagine what tomorrow night will be like. So Shane has been trying to talk our baby into coming a couple weeks early so that he is old enough that we can head over to Denver for the March Madness tournament. I have a feeling he won't have any sway over when the baby comes but we will see! So pretty much basketball and baby madness around here! Now I just need to get some pictures of us at the games, since we have been to every home game this season!!! I'll work on it.
